EMOTION GROUP incorporates Pilar Carbonell as General Manager for e|motion sports Hispania.

The e|motion group family secures the latest recruitment of key personnell, by hiring Mallorca-native, Pilar Carbonell. She will take on the role as General Manager of the Spanish e|motion sports office, located in Palma de Mallorca, with immediate effect and will lead several projects in the Balearic island including, among other, the organization of the ATP Mallorca Championships and the Mallorca Golf Open of the DP World Tour.

Pilar has built a strong reputation in the tourism industry, assuming leading positions at Calvià City Council, most recently being in charge of the General Directorate of Tourism of the Balearic Government. She is also the founder and co-owner of a well-known restaurant establishment in Palma, Café-Restaurants +NATURAL and has recently opened an accommodation in Santiago de Compostela. From a more personal point of view, Pilar considers herself as a great enthusiast of sports in general, mountain lover in particular and enjoys being active on social media.

After her recent appointment, the Mallorcan, graduated in "Business Techniques and Tourist Activities" at the Balearic School of Tourism, is thrilled about joining the international sports marketing agency with offices in Germany, Austria and Spain: "I am happy to join such an ambitious project that aims to put Mallorca as a national and international reference in the field of global sporting events."
