Eubanks saves five match points to meet Mannarino in Mallorca Championships final

The American overcomes Harris and the Frenchman beats Hanfmann

The Mallorca Championships already knows the two finalists of its third edition after Christopher Eubanks and Adrian Mannarino qualified on Saturday. The American and the Frenchman will look to succeed Daniil Medvedev (2021) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (2022) in the tournament's list of winners this Sunday at 18:00, with doors opening to the public at 14:00.

Eubanks pulled off an epic comeback against Lloyd Harris after lifting five match points in the third set (4-6, 6-3, 7-6[9]). The 27-year-old needed two hours and 18 minutes to reach his first ATP final and ensure that next Monday he will have the best ranking of his career by breaking into the Top-50.

On the other hand Mannarino will play his twelfth final on the circuit, improving on last year's semifinals at the Mallorca Country Club by beating Yannick Hanfmann in two sets (7-6[4], 6-4). The Frenchman, who turned 35 this week, has just two tour-level titles to his name but already knows what it's like to win on grass in 's-Hertogenbosch (2019).

Doubles

Robin Haase and Philipp Oswald qualified for the doubles final yesterday by beating Americans Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow (7-5, 6-2). The Dutchman and the Austrian will be looking for the title on Saturday, starting at 15:00, against India's Yuki Bhambri and South Africa's Lloyd Harris.
