Novak Djokovic will play the Mallorca Championships

Current number 1 in the tennis ranking will use the ideal conditions in Mallorca not only for practice, but will also take part in the Mallorca Championship’s doubles competition. Furthermore, Djokovic will also attend the official inauguration of the new Centre Court stadium at the Mallorca Country Club this Friday, 18th June 2021. The highlight of this event will be an exhibition match between Djokovic coach Goran Ivanisevic and the former world no. 2, Tommy Haas (GER).

With Dominic Thiem, a second Grand Slam title holder will participate in the Mallorca Championships besides Novak Djokovic. The US Open champion from 2020 leads a strong singles draw, including up-and-coming Norwegian Caspar Ruud and Russia’s Karen Khachanov.
