Hernández and Seguí crown MCTeen Finals

Toni Nadal was at the trophy ceremony with young champions

Bryan Hernandez repeated as champion of the MCTeen Finals and Sofia Segui took revenge this time for the final lost in the previous edition. The circuit that looks for the best U-16 talents of the island had two finals to match.

The women's final was resolved in a tight super tie-break where Segui beat Giuliana Ciangherotti (7-5, 6-7, 12-10). The men's was also very close, in which Hernandez needed two sudden deaths to beat Alejandro Abella (7-6, 7-6).

The MCTeen Finals have been held in parallel to the Mallorca Championships. The young promises of Balearic tennis have shared and competed on the same grass courts as the professionals. They were also semifinalists Georgina Satchell, who lost against Seguí; Selena Romero, losing against Ciangherotti; Jaume Socías, against Hernández; as well as Jaume Marqués, against Abella.
