Great excitement at the MC Teen Finals
No one was disappointed by the three matches played this Saturday at the MC Teen Finals as they were all decided in the thrilling super tie-break format of the third set.
The Grandstand court at the Mallorca Country Club crowned Laura Antonio and Lucas Satchell (U13), as well as Mario Callejón (U15) as 2024 champions. The duel between Elisabet Rossiñol and Eva Navío, in the U15 category, was postponed due to both players are playing in the Spanish Championship.
Laura Antonio won against Mia Paunovic with a comeback (1/6, 6/2 and 11-9). The same dynamic in the match between Lucas Satchell and Pere Barceló (6/7, 6/1 and 10-8). Mario Callejón did the same against Pau Riudavets (6/3, 2/6 and 10-5).
At the end of the day, Edwin Weindorfer, CEO and founder of e|motion; participated in the trophy ceremony to put the finishing touch to an exciting day in which the young promises could feel like professional tennis players playing their matches on an ATP court, with chair umpire and ball boy in parallel to the semifinal matches of the singles and doubles.
